While working with a chart, you may need to add strategies or alerts to charts of various symbols.

To add a strategy or alert simultaneously to charts of various symbols

1. Right-click anywhere in the Strategy Dashboard window, and then, in the menu that appears, click New Multi-Symbol Strategy or Alert.
2. The Select Strategy/Alert and Multiple Symbols dialog box appears.
   
   
3. In the upper-right corner of the dialog box, click the arrow , and then, in the list that appears, click a strategy or alert of your choice.
4. In the list below, select the check boxes of symbols of your choice. Make sure that at least one box is selected.
5. Click OK.
6. The Strategy Parameters dialog box appears.
   
   
   
   
7. Select parameters of your choice, and then click OK.

Once you click OK, the selected strategy or alert starts working. Their names and pertaining information appear in the Strategy Dashboard window, and their labels appear on the appropriate charts.
