Fading Out Orders/Positions

Brief

This section describes how to turn off/on fading out of positions and orders not associated with a position or order you point to.

Details

When you point to a position, entry order or stop/limit order, the position or order to which you point and a position and/or orders associated with it are highlighted, while all other positions and orders on the chart fade out.
In Marketscope the fading out is turned on by default.

To turn off/turn on the fading out:

1. Do one of the following:

• On the File menu, click Options.
• Right-click in the vertical or horizontal scale, and then click Options.
• Right-click in the chart and then click Options.
  
  * In the FXCM Trading Station, the command is available on the System menu.
2. The Options dialog box will appear.
3. Click Chart View Options.
   
   
4. To turn off the fading out, click Fade out orders/positions, and then set the option to No. Otherwise, set the option to Yes.
5. Click OK.
