Working with Profiles

This section describes how to work with FX Trading Station profiles.

Details

You can save your layout of the FX Trading Station (the positions of windows, sets of columns, and so on) together with the options for the FX Trading Station in a profile.

A profile stores the following data:

• A set of visible FX Trading Station windows, including Marketscope, with their states (maximized/restored, detached/attached) and positions.
• The currently selected window
• Sets of columns in the windows and their settings (width, visibility)
• The order of symbols in the Simple Dealing Rates, Advanced Dealing Rates and Summary windows
• Position of the dialog boxes and buttons on the toolbar
• The state of price panels (attached/detached), their size (Large, Medium, Small) and the currently selected price panel
• All options (including Marketscope options)
• Keyboard shortcuts

You can also save only a layout without the options in a profile.

Note that to use profiles saved on you computer you should first import them to your FX Trading Station.
